Christian Service Outreach

Supporting the outreach efforts of your local church

Jesus commands us to go and make disciples of all nations. Baptist Life is committed to building the Kingdom through the local church. We offer matching grants of $100 to $2,000 each year to assist the funding of outreach ministries within qualifying churches. Our members have chosen to use these funds in many ways. For Example:

Bethel Baptist church of Erie, PA sent a team of 14 people to Lima, Peru to work with missionaries Neil and Sandy Heim. They helped paint two church buildings in a very impoverished area, and assisted in a tent campaign. Approximately 200-250 kids and 350 adults attended, and 380 decisions to follow Christ were made.

The Young Men of Excellence at the Grainger Chapel in Kinston, NC utilized their matching grant to continue their program of sending teams to nursing homes to minister to shut-ins.

The Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church of Port Arthur, TX used their matching grant funds at the Willie Carter Community Outreach Center where they provided spiritual counseling, as well as educational and referral services concerning substance abuse and alcoholism to the church members, the faith community, and the general public.
